Educational Maintenance & Refurbishment

Keeping schools in working order and fully maintained is an ongoing responsibility. We work closely with school business and site managers to ensure that their establishments are able to continually offer a comfortable and safe environment for teachers, pupils and visitors.

Green Solutions and Working to Budgets.

A typical project may include but not limited to the supply and fit of new windows and doors, full classroom refurbishments, commercial kitchen fit outs, washroom renovations and ground works. As well as general maintenance, fuel costs continue to rise and are one of the major challenges that schools and education providers face. Our in-house commercial gas engineers understand that schools need to find green solutions but also that budgets are generally restricted. Annually we work in conjunction with consultants that help secure third-party funding and have provided several emergency boiler replacements as well as planned solutions.

Our project managers understand fully the school objectives and liaise closely with the school business and site managers to design and deliver a suitable but cost-effective solution with minimum disruption.

Why Education providers choose us as their preferred contractor

Communication and complete transparency are key and provides the base of all of our client relationships. We work closely with the school senior business and site managers and provide a detailed programme of works that not only gives step by step detail of tasks to be carried out but offers a precise timescale.

In an ideal world all work would be carried out during school holidays but unfortunately this isn’t always the case. In situations like this and where possible we look to work outside of normal school hours. We have found that this offers the best solution and allows the job to push forward while students and teachers are left undisturbed.

However, where we are unable to do this our priority is to keep disruption to a minimum. When working in a live environment the health and safety for students, teachers and visitors is absolutely paramount and is at the forefront of our considerations. Our sites are always well maintained, safe and secure and conform to the most current CLC guidelines on COVID-19 work practices.
