Services: Energy and Water Efficiency Works across 26 Schools.
In 2020 the government announced the public sector bids for a £1 billon new fund to deliver energy efficiency and heat decarbonisation measures. J T Edwards were selected by multi-disciplinary property consultants Barker Associates to deliver these works across the country, surveying over 26 sites and deploying works. The concept being that Schools move to sustainable energy solutions, generating power, journeys to net zeros, raising the profile of energy efficiency, and ultimately a better future. Warren Hill is working with Barkers Associates Ltd to deliver these works across to large Multi Academy Trusts, the measured works being completed include, Pipework Insulation, Heating and Hot water controls, new pumps, water saving devices, and sensory taps. The biggest challenge is that we only have a very small-time frame to complete the works and it is set against the backdrop of Schools returning to operation after a third national lockdown.
